Wind Point Partners Acquires Buske
Wind Point invests in high-growth contract warehousing and supply chain services provider for food, beverage and CPG end-markets
Chicago, Ill., November 4th, 2025 – Wind Point Partners (“Wind Point”), a Chicago-based private equity firm, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Buske Lines Inc. (“Buske” or the “Company”). Founded in 1923, Buske is a leading contract warehousing and supply chain solutions provider specializing in storage, handling, packaging, inspection, kitting and component sequencing. The Company serves as a critical link in its customers’ supply chains, enabling highly specialized, just-in-time inventory fulfillment for Fortune 500 food, beverage and packaging producers. Buske operates over seven million square feet of contract warehousing space out of 37 facilities across the U.S. and Canada.
Wind Point is partnering with Buske management, led by CEO Nick Heinz, who led a carve-out of the business from SC Johnson in 2014. Under Mr. Heinz’s leadership, Buske has achieved tremendous organic growth through a commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Buske’s capabilities allow customers to operate their mission-critical production facilities without supply-chain driven interruptions. Buske’s senior leadership team will continue with the business and has retained a meaningful ownership stake alongside Wind Point. Together, Wind Point and Buske leadership will continue investing in technology and infrastructure to support an organic and M&A-driven growth strategy focused on the recession-resilient and growing food, beverage and CPG end-markets.

Wind Point evaluated Buske in partnership with Pat Larmon, who has joined Buske’s Board as Chair. Mr. Larmon is a member of Wind Point’s Executive Advisor Partner (“EAP”) program. Mr. Larmon brings a wealth of experience, having created value in C-Suite and Board-level roles across Bunzl Distribution and Wind Point portfolio companies FreshEdge, Handgards and Pestell Nutrition.
Also involved in the transaction and joining Buske’s Board are Farrukh Bezar and John Ferguson. Mr. Bezar is a Wind Point EAP and most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at CSX Corporation, a $14 billion Class I railroad and logistics provider. Mr. Ferguson brings more than 30 years of extensive contract logistics experience and is currently the President and CEO of Purolator Inc., Canada’s leading integrated freight, package and logistics provider.
