Founded in 1984, Wind Point is one of the oldest Private Equity Firms in Chicago. We have worked diligently, through multiple economic cycles, to build a reputation as a partner of choice for business owners and talented executives seeking more than just capital.

Tenured and cycle-tested team
Wind Point is led by five Managing Directors who average over 20 years of tenure and collectively possess over 100 years of Private Equity experience. The Managing Directors are specialized across our industries and have executed the Wind Point value creation playbook through multiple economic cycles. Our leadership team is highly engaged across all aspects of the firm and well-positioned for the future.
Supporting the Managing Directors are a team of highly experienced Principals and Vice Presidents, having completed over 200 M&A transactions at Wind Point.
The Wind Point Operations Team is led by seasoned functional experts with more than 75 years of collective experience in Private Equity across Finance & Accounting, Tax, Executive Search, Investor Relations & Fundraising, Legal & Compliance and Value Creation Best Practices.
