Ryt-way Industries

Ryt-way Industries is a contract food packager and manufacturer of food packaging equipment.

Ryt-way Industries, headquartered in Lakeville, Minnesota, provides co-manufacturing, logistics and inventory management services for dry food products such as ready-to-eat cereals and meals, snack foods, crackers and mixes. In addition, Ryt-way designs and manufactures high-speed food packaging equipment, making it a “one-stop” contract packaging and technology solutions provider for the food industry. By consistently delivering high quality solutions in an efficient, timely and cost effective manner, Ryt-way has been able to foster deep long-term partnerships with North America’s leading consumer packaged goods companies.

Wind Point acquired Ryt-way in August 2008. Our value creation plan for Ryt-way includes introducing a proactive sales strategy, improving operations and expanding via add-on acquisitions. Ryt-way has completed three add-on acquisitions during Wind Point’s ownership.

Wind Point acquired Ryt-way in partnership with CEO David Finch. Prior to joining Ryt-way, David was the Group Vice President of Johnsonville Sausage, where he grew revenues from $250 million to over $500 million.
