Marshfield DoorSystems, headquartered in Marshfield, Wisconsin, is the largest manufacturer of commercial wood doors and supplier of door core in North America. Marshfield also produces a line of niche high end residential doors.

Marshfield manufactures doors on a “make-to-order” basis with over three million possible product combinations. Marshfield’s one-of-a-kind fulfillment system, DoorBuilder™, results in decreased lead times to customers, higher order accuracy rates, increased manufacturing efficiency, decreased administrative costs and higher overall customer satisfaction. 

Wind Point acquired Marshfield from Weyerhaeuser in December 2000. Our value creation plan at Marshfield includes expanding market coverage, introducing new products and completing opportunistic add-on acquisitions.

Marshfield is led by CEO Don Bergman, whose previous roles include President of Horton Automatics and President of Newell Home Hardware Companies.
