NOVOLEX (fka Hilex Poly), headquartered in Hartsville, SC, is a leading North American manufacturer of flexible paper and plastic packaging products. NOVOLEX serves over 2,500 customers across foodservice, grocery, retail, and industrial end markets with a diverse product portfolio including retail and specialty bags, food packaging products and a broad range of specialty films and laminated products. In addition, NOVOLEX is a leader in recycling plastic bags and films and operates the largest closed-loop recycling facility in the U.S. Its products are manufactured at 35 locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Wind Point acquired NOVOLEX in November 2012. Our value creation plan includes growing revenue by leveraging NOVOLEX’s recycling leadership position and introducing new products, reducing conversion costs, and completing add-on acquisitions.

Wind Point acquired NOVOLEX in partnership with CEO Stan Bikulege. Stan has 30 years of experience in flexible packaging and  films industry. His previous positions include CEO of Renaissance Mark, CEO of Exopack, and COO & Group President of Pliant.
