FoodScience Corporation (“FoodScience”), headquartered in Williston, Vermont, is a leading formulator, manufacturer and marketer of high-quality nutritional supplements for humans and pets. The Company offers a broad portfolio of nutritional supplements and dog treats through its brands VetriScience®, DaVinci®, and Pet Naturals®, as well as private label and custom formulation offerings. FoodScience serves both domestic and international customers through practitioner channels, direct-to-consumer ecommerce, and retail distribution.

Wind Point acquired FoodScience in March 2021. Our value creation plan focuses on supporting strong organic growth, especially through branded product sales, and executing strategic acquisitions.

Wind Point acquired FoodScience in partnership with incumbent management, led by CEO Sharon Rossi. Ms. Rossi has significant experience leading in the consumer products industry. Prior to joining FoodScience in 2017, Ms. Rossi served as Chief Customer Officer at Coty, Inc. following her role as General Manager of the Consumer Lifestyle Division at Philips and a 16-year career with Unilever. 

Wind Point also partnered with advisors Katie Doyle, Chris Hornung and Bob Shipley, who have each joined the FoodScience Board of Directors. Ms. Doyle, a veteran industry executive, serves as the Company’s Board Chair. Ms. Doyle brings extensive leadership experience in the nutritional supplements industry, including prior roles as CEO of Swanson Health Products and President of Abbott Nutrition, U.S. Mr. Hornung, who is a Wind Point Executive Advisor Partner (“EAP”), previously served as the CEO of Pacific Cycle, a former Wind Point III portfolio company. Mr. Shipley most recently served as CEO of FoodScience before transitioning to an advisory role.
