Quantix, formerly A&R Logistics, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, is North America’s largest provider of integrated dry bulk logistics solutions for the chemical and plastic industries. Quantix’s comprehensive suite of services include transportation, warehousing, packaging, and fully outsourced logistics management, with nearly 50 facilities and the industry’s largest fleet of specialized tractors and pneumatic trailers.  

Wind Point acquired Quantix in May 2019. Our value creation plan includes expanding transportation infrastructure and value-added warehouse facilities, establishing a leading plastic resin export network, and completing and integrating add-on acquisitions. 

Wind Point acquired Quantix in partnership with board co-chair Mark Holden, a veteran executive in the logistics space who served as CEO of Quantix from 2012 until his planned retirement in 2021. Chris Ball, a member of the Quantix leadership team since 2016 with 25+ years of experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, was promoted from President to CEO in 2021. The board of directors is chaired by Steve Hochhauser (former Board Chair & CEO of Johns Manville and Wind Point Executive Advisor Partner), and includes Stan Bikulege (former Board Chair & CEO of Novolex and Wind Point Executive Advisor Partner) and Charlie Crew (former President & CEO of SABIC Innovative Plastics).
