Smart Care Acquires Finley’s Facilities Services

Combination deepens Smart Care’s footprint in Ohio

St. Paul, Minn., December 15, 2022 – Smart Care, a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners (“Wind Point”), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Finley’s Facilities Services, LLC (“Finley’s” or the “Company”), a commercial kitchen equipment repair company. The addition of Finley’s bolsters Smart Care’s existing capabilities in Ohio and represents Smart Care’s third acquisition in the state and seventh overall since partnering with Wind Point in 2021.

Based in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Finley’s is a family-owned commercial kitchen equipment repair company, offering emergency repair, preventative maintenance and installation services for cooking, refrigeration and HVAC equipment. The Company’s clients include restaurants, grocers, convenience stores and other retail foodservice providers. Finley’s was founded in 2016 and quickly earned a reputation as a premier service provider for the repair of commercial kitchen equipment throughout Ohio.

Headquartered in Chicago, Ill., Smart Care is a leading U.S. service provider focused on hot and cold-side commercial foodservice, refrigeration, HVAC and specialty coffee and beverage equipment. Following the acquisition, Finley’s will join Smart Care’s Equipment Solutions business, which is based in St. Paul, Minn., and specializes in commercial kitchen equipment services. Smart Care has developed a strong reputation for service quality supported by a high-quality technician base. Its Equipment Solutions business serves thousands of customers spanning restaurants, grocers, convenience stores and corporate facilities across the U.S.
