Hasa Acquires Chem Eleven, a Subsidiary of FSTI, Inc.

Acquisition bolsters Hasa’s production footprint and growth strategy in Texas

Saugus, Calif. – Hasa, Inc. (“Hasa”), a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners (“Wind Point”), today announced the acquisition of Chem Eleven Products, Inc. (“Chem Eleven” or the “Company”) and select related assets from its parent company FSTI, Inc. (“FSTI”). Chem Eleven represents a strategic acquisition that reinforces Hasa’s growing production and service footprint in Texas.

Based in Greenville, Texas, Chem Eleven operates a salt-to-bleach manufacturing site serving municipal and commercial water treatment and manufacturing end markets. In tandem with the acquisition, Hasa is also completing two new state-of-the-art packaging and transfer facilities in the San Antonio and Dallas metropolitan areas, respectively. Further, Hasa plans capacity expansion investments at the Greenville site to supply its two new sites and enable continued long-term growth for Chem Eleven’s existing and future customers.

Chris Brink, CEO of Hasa, stated, “We are thrilled to cement our partnership with Chem Eleven, an organization that has built a reputation for delivering premium products and service. Between this acquisition and our recent greenfield investments in the last year, Hasa has grown from one Texas site to four facilities capable of supplying water treatment solutions from bulk scale down to single-use packaged form. These investments highlight Hasa’s continued focus on finding more ways to serve our valued customers through geographic expansion and a growing set of products and services.”

Scott Trussell, CEO of FSTI, will join Hasa in an active executive advisory role. Mr. Trussell noted, “The Hasa leadership team has a clear vision and strategy to enhance reliability, safety and performance for its employees and customers. The combination with Hasa allows us to grow faster with our existing commercial water treatment and industrial customers, and we are excited to extend our services further into the recreational pool market in tandem with Hasa.”

Peter Leemputte, Principal at Wind Point, commented, “Bolstering our production and service capabilities in Texas is a key component of the Hasa value creation plan. Texas represents the third largest recreational pool market in the country and serves as a natural extension of Hasa’s best-in-class services across the western and southwestern U.S. The acquisition of Chem Eleven accelerates our Texas growth strategy, and we look forward to supporting our customers’ growth in the region.”

Chem Eleven represents the second acquisition to the Hasa platform under Wind Point ownership, following the acquisition of Orenda Technologies in 2023.
